My name is Cheryl Vail, and I am thrilled to share my story with you. Martinique Hair Designs Ltd. has been a cornerstone in the industry for over 40 years, providing exceptional wigs, toppers, custom hairpieces and headwear.
Personal Journey
My personal journey with alopecia began 9 years ago, leading me to discover Martinique Hair Designs Ltd. The support and solutions I received during that challenging time were transformative, both emotionally and mentally.
A New Chapter Begins
Seven years ago, the previous owner of Martinique Hair Designs Ltd., approached me with a heartfelt offer. She was planning to retire and hoped I would consider taking over the business. Honored and excited, I accepted the opportunity to help people through their journey. Since April 2024, I have proudly become the new owner of Martinique Hair Designs Ltd., and plan to make this business have a new name for itself and also make it my own.
Training and Experience
Before acquiring the business, I worked closely with trained staff for several months. During that time I completed my "Medical Hairloss Transitional Service Certification". This invaluable experience equipped me with a deep understanding of various types of hair loss, including those caused by chemotherapy, alopecia, stress, and hormonal changes etc. I also had the chance to build meaningful relationships with both long-time clients and new ones, which I cherish deeply.
